Pedro made it 2-0 before Costa’s brilliant assist for the marauding William made 3-0 inside the first 17 minutes.Two further goals from Pedro and Bertrand Traore made it 5-0 for Chelsea’s biggest win of the season before a late consolation for new signing Andros Townsend reduced the defeat.

Manchester United suffered yet another setback in their quest for the top four finish in the early lunch time kick off .United lost 2-1 against relegation threatened Sunderland who previous to the match had never defeated United at the Stadium of Light in the premier league history.
